Arizona Duel in the Desert Trials and Duel in the Desert:

The Arizona Duel in the Desert Trials, October 1-2, 2005 at the Ben Avery FITA range will select the Arizona Duel in the Desert Team.  http://www.azarchery.com/forms/2005DuelTrialsReg.pdf

The Arizona team consists of 6 recurve senior men, 6 recurve senior women, 4 compound senior men, 4 compound senior women, and one junior in each junior category, Jr. recurve male, Jr. recurve female, Jr. compound male and Jr. compound female.

The highest finisher(s) in each category earn spot in the AZ Duel team.

Note that Masters, Barebows and JOADs are welcome to try out for the team or compete in their own categories.

Members will receive a team shirt and have their entry fee paid by the ASAA to compete in the Duel in the Desert.

Team members are responsible for their travel to the Duel including lodging.

This year the Duel will be in California on the LA Olympic Archery Field in Long Beach, November 5-6, 2005.

(Next year the Duel is schedule to take place in AZ)

Those that don’t think that they “are ready” should consider taking part in this Star FITA for the experience and enjoyment.

Sometimes there are not enough competitors in a category and all that compete make the team.

Those that don’t make the team should consider taking part in the Duel in the Desert itself.
