2007 Arizona Outdoor Spring Tournament Season!

March and April are busy times for AZ Outdoor Tournaments.

JOADs and Collegiate archers many opportunities to compete in both open and junior and collegiate tournaments.

 

 March 31, 2007 Saturday, Arizona Archery in the Schools Program Championship

 April 1, 2007, Sunday, Arizona Collegiate Outdoor Championships

  • Ben Avery, 900 round.

  • Cancelled

  • Arizona’s four US College Archery Program team will compete.

 April 7, 2007, Saturday, Sunrise FITA

  • Ben Avery, One day FITA

  • This tournament is great preparation for the AAE AZ Cup and the Arizona JOAD Outdoor Championship.

 April 11-15, 2007, AAE Arizona Cup

  • Ben Avery, World Ranking Tournament

  • This is a remarkable opportunity to come see Olympians and world champions compete.

  • If you can shoot adult distance you can compete side by side with them.

 April 21, 2007, Saturday, Arizona JOAD Outdoor Championship

  • Papago Park, One day FITA

  • This is a revised date from the “postcard” schedule.

  • The tournament selects the JOAD state champion.

 April 27-29, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Western Region CAP Regional Championship

Other events:

  • The US Intercollegiate Championships take place in May in Illinois.

  • Shooting outdoors in AZ continues into June with the Payson shoot.

  • The JOAD National Championship takes place in nearby San Diego (Chula Vista) at the Olympic Training Center in June.

  • The National Championships takes place in August in Colorado Springs, Co. (Open)

  • The Arizona State Field Championship and the Duel Trials and Duel in the Desert are scheduled for September, October and November.
