Star FITA Tournament Format

 

Recurve Bow -             60 arrows from 18 meters

 

Juniors and Cadets:      40 cm target face (choice of single-spot or vertical 3-spot face from 18 meters — must use choice for entire tournament); outer 10 ring;

Cub and Bowman:        60 cm target face; outer 10 ring

 

 

Compound Bow-          60 arrows from 18 meters

 

Juniors and Cadets:      40 cm target face    (choice of single spot or vertical 3-spot face from 18 meters — must use choice for entire tournament); use inner 10 ring;

Cub and Bowman         40 cm target face (choice of single-spot or vertical 3-spot face from 18 meters — must use choice for entire tournament); use outer 10 ring

 

 

 

***NAA Dress Code will be enforced...this includes official practice sessions***

Tournament Requirements:

 

1)   MEMBERSHIP - NAA is required for all competitors. If your NAA membership expires prior to the official start date of the tournament, your NAA membership renewal must accompany your tournament Registration Form. Your application will not be considered complete until your current membership is on file. Please be prepared to show NAA membership card at the tournament registration table or be prepared to purchase a NAA membership USA Archery - NAA Membership at that time. Should you need a duplicate membership card, please allow no less than 15 days prior to the tournament for requesting this card.

 

2)   NAA rules apply.  Arrow Size.

 

3)   YOUTH DIVISIONS-

      “Junior” through the calendar year of their 18th birthday (Born in or after 1986).

      “Cadet” through the calendar year of their 16th birthday (Born in or after 1988).

      “Cub” through the calendar year of their 14th birthday (Born in or after 1990).

      “Bowman” through the calendar year of their 12th birthday (Born in or after 1992).

PRACTICE:             No extra practice facility is available.

                              Official practice is one hour prior to scoring time.

 

Schedule:

                       

Check-in and equipment inspection:        8:30 AM

 

Official Practice:                                    9:00 AM      (45 minutes)

                                                                 

Scoring Begins 1st – 30 arrows:               10:00 AM

 

Lunch Approximately:                             Noon to 1:00 PM

 

Scoring Begins 2nd – 30 arrows:               Approximately 1:00 PM

 

Awards:                                                Following afternoon scoring
