We are once again approaching the start of the Fall archery competition season. Here are some important dates to mark on your calendar.

September 17 JOAD practices start again at Archery Headquarters

October 1-2 Duel in the Desert Trials, registration is due by September 17

Ed says that the coaches are hoping that everyone will take this opportunity to experience a local outdoor tournament. If anyone has a question, they can call him at 480-821-6722, or email him at mysticvot@aol.com Registration forms are available at Duel Trials Registration Form.

October 8 Tournament Season Kick-off Party and Meeting at the Monahan's at 4:30pm.

More information will be coming out soon, but we'll have some fun, eat some food, and then let the coaches review upcoming tournaments and any other information they'd like to share.

The party is for any archers that want to compete in tournaments and their families. We'll have some flyers about the party to pass out at the JOAD practices in September.

So, if you know of any youth that are interested in competing this year - please share this information with them.

Four classes on Saturday mornings

Mesa Targeteers classes at Archery HQ are suspended during the hunting preparation seasons, call ahead to confirm schedule.

Beginners Class Saturday morning at 8:00 AM, 10 yards

First timers to Mesa Targeteers at Archery HQ check in early to fill out forms and sign waivers (by parent or guardian)
Class from 8:00AM to 9:00AM, For those with little or no experience.
$6/class

Beginners Class Saturday morning at 9:00 AM, 10 yards

First timers to Mesa Targeteers at Archery HQ check in early to fill out forms and sign waivers (by parent or guardian)
Class from 9:00AM to 10:00AM, For those with little or no experience.
$6/class

Intermediate Class Saturday morning at 10:00 AM, 20 yards or as required.

Check with the Club leaders to see if you qualify to participate in the Intermediate class.
Class from 10:00AM to 11:00AM

Advanced Class Saturday morning at 11:00 AM, 20 yards

Check with the Club leaders to see if you qualify to participate in the Advanced class.
Class from 11:00AM to 12:00PM
